The holders of the Pakistan Super League: PSL (currently) title Multan Sultans have announced their retainers and released players ahead of the upcoming Season 10. The team, known for their fearless approach to the game, has opted to bring back most of the key members of their championship core, but a number of crucial players will be leaving. While some might think its sudden, it’s a sign of the direction the team wants to make going forward.

Conclusion

The Multan Sultans have (in fact) managed to keep a solid nucleus of a championship-winning side intact but have let go several of their first-choice players. While the mix of senior players such as Bevan Small, Jacob Duffy and Josh Caitlin, along with some exciting young talent, will aim to improve on their PSL 10 (this). The first step of course is the player draft, which will finalise the squad for the Sultans, as they eye a second straight title. While they’ve lost a few important parts, the message is still clear: Stay competitive.
